Air Conditioning

Our Air Conditioning shop is capable of repairing your vehicles A.C. system regardless of make or model. We use the latest equipment  for leak detection that is capable of sensing leaks as small as 1/10th of an ounce of refrigerant per year. Today's average car system holds 32 ounces.

We can do simple system recharges and retrofits right up to the replacement of tough to get at components such as compressors and evaporators. ( Check out the slides at the bottom of this page. )

We will always recommend our thorough free check of the entire A.C. system before beginning any work. This will allow us to spot any problem that may be lurking.

We warranty all of our Air Conditioning parts with a one year warranty including labour and recharge.


If we recharge your vehicles  Air Conditioner and it develops a leak within two years of the recharge date we will recharge it for free when our shop repairs the leaking component.

What does a retrofit cost and how long will it take? 

Cars that are 1993 models or older will require a retrofit in order to recharge the A/C system with R134A. Our shop charges $336.00 including tax to do a basic retrofit. This will cause an air conditioner with no major problems to blow cold. Recharges on newer cars average $159.00  including tax. 

If it is 30 degrees out and between July 1 and August 30 you will probably need to leave your car with us for a full day. This will allow us to repair your car properly and serve our many customers who all require our services at the same time.
