New Cores  (Recores)

A new core has been the standard in radiator replacement over the last several decades.  A new core, properly assembled will give years of lasting service. 

High quality cores also offer a savings over new radiators in most cases. If your radiator is not in the top 50 part numbers then you will save money by only replacing only the core.   

What is a recore?

To recore a radiator means to replace the center section (the core) of the radiator and re-use the tanks. The tanks are soldered to each end of the core or in the case of modern vehicles, plastic tanks are crimped on to a core. The end result is a radiator of top quality assembled by hand and individually tested.
